Parayan Baaki Vechathu is the third film to feature Mammootty’s nephew Maqbool Salmaan. Mallika was initially cast as Maqbool’s heroine but when she opted out, Anumol, who earlier acted in the internationally acclaimed feature Akam, was chosen for the role.
