The film is based on Ostrovsky’s play “Guilty without Guilt”, but the action of the film has been transferred to our time. The main character is not a dramatic actress, but an opera singer. She is played by Kazarnovskaya. A new vocal piece was written especially for Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, which sounds in the finale of the film.
